[ Oh. That could be a problem. The first one, anyway. He has absolutely no intention of doing that second thing. ] Hypothetically, what's the punishment for owning more than twenty puppets without a valid puppet license?

He sells Lemina's memory of people not being able to breathe underwater (because the Catastrophe ring is enough to remember her by, and if not even angels can breathe underwater then it's pretty much a given that humans can't, and somehow he thinks Lemina would have approved) and buys two upgrade rings and a PDA with audio/video upgrade, leaving him with 8.
[Dunleavy raised an eyebrow and clicked on the computer a little more.] Very severe, a two hundred rak fine and loss of all privileges... which pretty much means you would be an eternal discard, regardless of Player or owned Weapon status.
[She keeps her face straight but she is quite shocked, this mayor must have really hated puppets. She makes a note to go further into the system later and learn the reasoning behind this law.]
"Indeed, likewise Dirk." She nodded at him as he left. She suspected he had probably broken that law but seeing as she had just learned of it she would give him time to fix his ways, she didn't want the chaos of a two hundred rak fine if she could help it...
